International testing with the Haystack search engine marketing system for dealers has now begun and is producing astonishing results. Several dealers in Europe have begun testing the system to market used cars and trucks directly in search engines.
“We recently started some campaigns using our Haystack tool in Europe and the tool is outperforming every expectation. In initial tests, we’re getting click through ratios five hundred percent above our US average. And our cost per click is about 25% of what we expect to pay here,” said Duncan Scarry.
The system now allows European dealers to reach out directly to consumers who are searching for used cars and trucks. In the European market, used cars and trucks are referred to as ‘second hand.’ In addition, the factory is one of the primary retailers of used vehicles focusing ‘Approved’ programs similar to the United States’ ‘certified’ programs.
“The European auto market is completely different than the United States. Dealers don’t carry as much inventory, manufacturers sell direct to customers and there’s overall less of an advertising industry for the auto market. We hope to change that with Haystack. This is pretty exciting for us. With very little modification, the Haystack system now works anywhere in the world. We’ll be able to deliver class-leading automotive advertising services well ahead of the market when we bring our products abroad,” finished Scarry.
